All submissions to Louisiana Literature should be double-spaced (except for poetry). Use margins of at least one inch, and be sure to put your name on each page of the manuscript.
Please wait for a response before submitting another manuscript. Also, we ask that you submit work in only one category at a time. Multiple or concurrent submissions will be returned unread.
Louisiana Literature is happy to read simultaneous submissions (please inform us as soon as possible if work is accepted elsewhere), but we will not consider work that has been published before, including personal blog publications. We endeavor to respond to all submissions within 45 days.
A subscription to Louisiana Literature includes two issues starting with our current issue unless otherwise specified.
